Lupita Nyong’o, 32, made her Cannes Film Festival debut during the opening ceremony at the premiere of Le Tete Haute on May 12, where she looked radiant as she made her way down the red carpet in a plunging green Gucci gown. The star’s best accessory, her beaming smile, was visible as she twirled like a princess, showing off the stunning details of the chiffon gown — it reminded us of her magical moment on the 2013 Oscars red carpet! Not only does she look amazing, but she makes getting glam for the red carpet seem like so much fun — and we love it!

For her festival debut, she showed off a plunging green Gucci gown — the jade color looked amazing against her complexion. The chiffon dress dipped low in the front and featured a cape-like detailing on the back, (which looked phenomenal when she twirled!). Embroidered crystals and silk flowers adorned the dress, adding to the feminine vibe of the frock, as she wore an antique Gucci accessory in her hair. A bold magenta lip added to the colorful look in a refreshing way — Lupita can do no wrong! When you’re attending the Cannes Film Festival for the very first time you want to make a bold statement — and that’s just what Lupita did in her stunning green Gucci gown!
