A TRENDY new fashion and clothing store is opening up at Plymouth's Royal William Yard.

The 'contemporary concept store' ID Fashion is holding its opening party tonight.

The shop, which also has a branch in Totnes, is moving into the Guardhouse building, right at the entrance to the yard.

Bulgarian Fashion Designer Anna Avramova, a professor in Fashion at the National Academy of Art in Sofia was among the guests due at tonight's Champagne and jazz reception.

ID Fashion owner Denitsa Avramova-Bastable said: "We are really excited to be launching ID Fashion at Royal William Yard.

"After the success of our Totnes store we have decided to open a second business here within the South West and the Royal William Yard - being such a vibrant and urban location - is the perfect place for ID Fashion.

"We know our offering is something different for the people of Plymouth and visitors to the South West and this is a very exciting time.”

Emily Handslip, associate director of Royal William Yard developers Urban Splash, added: “The launch of ID Fashion’s concept store makes a fantastic addition to the commercial portfolio here at Royal William Yard.

"As the South West’s go-to destination for contemporary arts and culture we are thrilled to have ID Fashion open its doors at The Guardhouse – offering unique and contemporary pieces with a range of price points from affordable staple wardrobe garments to luxury one-offs as well as urban and handmade pieces for the home makes ID Fashion a unique destination.

"This is a fantastic new venture for both ID Fashion and Royal William Yard.”
